The Oquirrh Mountain Temple is almost finished! We had a lesson about temples and reverence for FHE and drove by the new temple to check it out. It takes 6 minutes to get there. We are so spoiled! It is scheduled to be dedicated on August 22. To make a reservation to attend the open house from June 1 through August 1 go to www.lds.org/reservations or call 1-800-521-5105 or 801-240-7645. We will be attending the open house on Saturday, July 25. (That's the weekend before Taylor's birthday. If anyone wants to come with us and celebrate Taylor's 3rd after that, we would love to have you!)
We have previously been in the Jordan River temple district. I am excited about the new temple opening because Jordan River is so busy, sometimes Greg and I have waited almost 2 hours to get into a session. Jordan River is the busiest temple in the world! But, of all the things to wait for, temple work is probably THE MOST important. It is a beautiful and sacred place, and I feel so blessed to have so many of them so close.
